Built upon the accumulated strengths and experiences of TRU undergraduate research community, and its obligation to quality undergraduate research, Thompson Rivers University Undergraduate Research Journal (TRU-URJ) provides an outlet to the dissemination of outstanding undergraduate scholarship across the Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Business, and Trades programs. TRU-URJ is an annual double blind faculty-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing faculty-mentored, well-written, and original research at undergraduate level. It is dedicated to intellectual integrity, rigorous standards of scholarship.  TRU-URJ  is committed to promoting undergraduate research, scholarly/creative articles and to provide a publication forum to our primary target TRU students, including face-to-face, online, and distance undergraduate students. The editorial board may also consider scholarly articles from students of other undergraduate institutions, including students enrolled in TRU offshore programs. Depending on the nature of the submitted articles, the board may publish a special issue on specific theme. Only manuscripts will be considered that have been done while all authors enrolled in one of the aforementioned undergraduate programs.
