Creating a New Issue

1. Add a New Category for the issue — be sure to set the parent to Published. This enables it as an option for new submissions and provides a link to show all items.
2. Create a New Page to be the table of contents. Edit as needed to link to all articles, e.g. create a page to link to as a forward. Set a featured image.
3. (Admin role needed) When this page is ready to be go to the front of the site, edit the Settings – Reading for Front page to this new page. This makes it the landing page for the site.

4. Edit Menu to include link to Page for the Issue Table of contents, and a sub menu that pointts to the category archive created for that issue.

Currently not on the site; you can create a new page for each issue as a “call for submissions”; the link to the form is http://undergradjournal.trubox.ca/. This form should be used even if you are adding a new article as an editor, as it adds additional information.
